Planning a Garden of the Gods Elopement

S + T were looking to wrap up their Colorado chapter by saying, “I do”. Moving to New Mexico the very next week, these two just had one last thing to plan - an elopement in the mountains. The time & place did not really matter, just that they were together reading their vows to one another somewhere beautiful, and with their little family they had created.

Timeless, Artistic Garden of the Gods Wedding & Elopement Photography

Colorado has endless options for elopements. Sometimes narrowing down your choices can feel overwhelming. Add in permits, rules and logistics - you’re drowning in information overload. Hiring the right photographer who can provide personal experience & knowledge, ultimately guiding you towards picking the right location, is priceless. This is why I make sure to sit down with all of my couples on a video call to understand what’s truly important to them on their wedding day. Consider things like accessibility, privacy, scenery, budget, etc.

S + T did not have many nonnegotiables, just gorgeous mountain scenery and somewhere easily accessible for their 2 pups. It was important to S + T that their dogs could be a part of their elopement ceremony. In Colorado, your dogs are allowed to sign as witnesses on your marriage license!
