When looking for a destination to host your microwedding in Colorado, you can NOT find a sweeter town than Georgetown, CO. This city is packed with history and scenic views, no matter which way you look or explore. If you are falling in love with this town (just as I did), you can not miss taking a look at The Clear Creek Inn as your venue for your special day. Clear Creek Inn is run by Father/Son duo Lloyd and Sam Yanis, and has a culmination of more than 50 years of event and hospitality management. The Inn is located downtown, making it an ideal Georgetown, Colorado wedding venue because it is incredibly walkable for both you and your guests! Making the wedding weekend events a breeze for everyone! This is one of the reasons why Owen & Eva chose Clear Creek Inn for their wedding in Georgetown Colorado. Their wedding was the epitome of a cozy intimate microwedding!

Eva and Owen are both transplants from Peru and Minnesota, and they now call Littleton, CO, home. This is an excellent option for them with planning, as it's not too far, and the airport is convenient for guests traveling in for their special day. While not everyone could make it because family and friends are located in different parts of the world, it made it even sweeter for those who could show up to celebrate their love! The immediate show of support from Owen’s family for Eva when her family couldn't attend, melted my heart. In one of the suites at the Inn, you can see Eva spending the morning with some of her close friends and Owen’s mom and sister getting ready for the big day. While in another suite, you can catch a glimpse of Owen’s best man helping him with his hair and giving him a pep talk on the balcony before the ceremony (I sneakily caught this one through a window, and I was tearing up just shooting it). 


Clear Creek Inn holds ceremonies in this magical green space in their backyard, surrounded by Aspen trees. The way the light filtered through the space was stunning, especially since it’s set on this hill, giving all the guests an unobstructed view of the couple getting married. Because not everyone they loved was able to attend, they decided to stream the ceremony so that no one would be left out. The officiant did the ceremony in English & Spanish, so Eva’s family, who would be watching her get married, felt included even from far away. Creating a perfect unity between the two families with a bilingual Colorado wedding ceremony. The creek that runs behind the ceremony space helped blend the sound of moving water with the green foliage, creating a special atmosphere that truly evokes the feel of an intimate Colorado wedding venue. After the ceremony, they had a sit-down dinner with speeches. Clear Creek Inn prepared and served some delicious food. The day was packed with joy, love, laughter, and even PUPS, melding into a night filled with food and dancing.

Sam, Lloyd, and their staff are so great to work with; they were professional, warm, and knowledgeable. Making this one of my top venues to work with as Georgetown Colorado wedding photographer. The Clear Creek Inn has four bedrooms, each with a private bathroom, making it an excellent option for the couple and wedding party (or just the couple) to stay at during wedding events. If you want to do a fun activity while there, you can inquire with Sam about their torchworking classes at the on-site glass-blowing studio! The Inn’s cozy vibes and the endless views from ANYWHERE in the house, but mostly the backyard, allow for the small mountain town wedding you are looking for. Speaking of the backyard, you will have an outdoor ceremony surrounded by Aspen trees when you book this venue, giving you romantic mountain inn wedding feels. You will have a seamless transition from ceremony to reception with weddings at Clear Creek Inn team, as they will take care of any changes that have to be made while you and your guests enjoy a cocktail hour and mingle with one another. They also offer packages that allow you to have a more all-inclusive experience with your food and music options. Lastly, they have great vendor suggestions for your micro wedding needs. In addition to the AMAZING Aspen tree wedding ceremony backdrop you receive when booking with this venue, you also have the option of using indoor and outdoor reception spaces. If you can't decide, you always have the option of using both! I cannot describe how excited I get when a couple inquiring about my services chooses this as their wedding location. 2. What kind of amenities and services are offered at Clear Creek Inn?
This Colorado intimate wedding venue includes indoor and outdoor spaces, a full-service bar, a catering kitchen, and an outdoor brick pizza oven. With over 50 years of event experience, their team makes it easy to host your entire weekend in one place.

3. What is the guest capacity (indoor/outdoor)?
The outdoor area can host up to 98 guests, offering a stunning mountain and aspen backdrop for your ceremony. Celebrations inside the inn can comfortably accommodate up to 49 guests, perfect for couples planning a small wedding. You can also do both options to really capitalize on the number of guests if you have a larger list.

4. What is included in the facility (site) fee?
The single facility fee covers nearly everything you need for your stay and celebration: permits, equipment, furniture, setup and breakdown, staffing, and cleanup. This means you can focus on celebrating your day while their team handles the logistics, giving you more time for those candid wedding moments.

5. Do they require you to use their catering or bar, or can you bring in outside vendors?
Clear Creek Inn offers in-house catering, a full bar service, and kitchen support. They also welcome outside vendors for additional elements such as florals, cake, and décor, depending on your package. This flexibility allows you to design a celebration that feels personal.
